The location is good, being in walking distances to the Gothic Quarter, the Rambla and most of the Gaudi buildings, as well as the major shopping streets. The staff is helpful.
Our room was extremely small and uncomfortable, with a single chair. Smoking is allowed throughout the hotel (in the lobby and the guest rooms). Room safe deposits are not included in the room prices; you have to pay extra. Room prices are too high for this category. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. We left the hotel 4 days earlier than programmed.
Very centrally situated close to metro stations, bars and restaurants. Quiet room even though overlooking Gran Via. Would recommend for anyone wanting to explore Barcelona.
The helpful atttitude of the entire staff during a period of stress due to flight cancellations because of the volcanic eruption
The fact that the Hotel is located so close to the main tourist areas makes it an ideal base for the tourist on a short city break. It is in a well lit up area which feels safe when returning late aty night. The bedroom was spacious and clean. A special mention should go to the young girl on reception on the evening of the 4th Jan. She checked us in for our flight and was very helpful in general. Thanks also to the young man on reception on the evening of 2nd Jan who advised us on our trip to the game at the Nou Camp. Two excellent staff members.
On New Years Eve we sought advice as to a good area to go for celebrating the ringing in of the New Year. The staff on reception were not of much help to us. However some of this may have been due to a language barrier.
We lived on 6 floor. In our number was a big balcony. A breakfast on every day: an omelette and fried sausages, fruit, sweet baked goods with a different stuffing, cheese, yoghurts, juice, tea, coffee, a cottage cheese pie and apple pie.
The lift behind a wall was audible, the toilet is located very close to a bath and in the room was cool at night
It was location that I liked
The staff were freindly and helpful. we needed a hotel room as we were stranded by transport issues and we managed to get a room here. Thankyou
i thought the decor and style of the hotel was a bit dated.
The location of the hotel was very good for the purpose of our visit, which was a touristic visit to Baecelona.
Good location, near metro and in walking distance to many interesting places.
The room had only one chair. We missed another chair and some English TV- news channels.
It had a wonderful terrace that had a magnificent view of the Grand Via and the city of Barcelona.
good staff, polite & correct
no brush in toilet room
Location was super only short distance from La Rambles, the hotel room was big and you could not hear any noise from streets
There was only one tv channel on the tv, but we didnt mind as we used the hotel as a base and didnt stay long in the hotel, overall very good but watch your pockets as barcelona is full of pick pocketers!!!
The room was clean, quiet, well maintained and the bed comfortable. It was in a good central location in walking distance to the old town and easy cab rides to other major attractions. The staff were polite and efficient.
No serious complaints but other than for breakfast there are no facilities in the hotel - no usuable bar and a very limited lounge area. The bedroom was sparsely furnished - it's ok if all you want is a room to sleep in. I think that you should get more for €170/night (September) even in Barcelona.
Very clean, Very nice and helpfull stuff. Aurebus stop a little bit after the hotel (when coming from airport), Very easy to find it. Location is good- 7minutes walk from placa catalonia and near a metro. Three stations from placa espania. Night buses stop close The bed was very big and very very comfortable. . View to a inner yard where we could see buiilding but it gave a feeling like living in a spanich neiborhood A good price for the room.
The room was small and quiet simple. Same menu at breakfast, they should keep the hot food more hot. (eggs).
most impersonal--no friendlyness apparent
